Every Year Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). From the last few years, the examination of AIEEE is merged with the examination of IIT (Indian Institute of Technology). Hence the examination of AIEEE is replaced by the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Mains in April 2013. This exam will be conducted on 02/04/2017 (Sunday) by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc. Here we provide JEE Mains Latest Syllabus 2017 along with previous years sample paper, books ,Official PDF downloads, exam pattern etc.

Following is the Exam Pattern & Latest Syllabus for AIEEE or JEE exam. so candidates who are going to attend or are preparing for this exam can get latest syllabus from here. So check out the latest syllabus and exam pattern for the better preparation and to get successful result.

Exam Pattern (JEE Mains):

  • The examination of JEE Mains consists of two papers-
  • Paper I and Paper II.
  • Paper I is conducted for B. E/ B. Tech
  • Paper II is conducted for B. Arch/ B. Planning.
  • The candidates can apply for both the papers.
  • Paper and Pen Exam date: 02 April 2017
    • Paper I -9:00 AM to 12:30 Noon
    • Paper-II- 2.30 PM to  5:30 PM
  • Computer based Exam for B.E. / B.Tech Students(Paper I):
    • April 2017: 9:30 to 12:30 Noon.(1st Shift)
    • April 2017: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. (2nd Shift)
  • Declaration of Results: 1st Week of June 2017.

Paper I (B. E/ B. Tech)

The subjects that are compulsory for this examination is Physics & Mathematics and the optional subjects as – Bio Technology/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.

JEE Main 2017 Syllabus Paper II:

Part A: Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build environment. Visualizing three dimensional objects from two dimensional drawings. Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials. Different sides of three dimensional objects. Visualizing. Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal).

Part B: Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil. Three dimensional – perception: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast. Creating two dimensional and three dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms. Transformation of forms both 2 D and 3 D union, subtraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, elevations and 3 D views of objects. Landscape (river fronts, jungles. gardens, trees, plants etc.) and rural life, sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urban space (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces etc).
